Spring has sprung!

And it's colder now that it was in Winter.

No, really, it's colder now that it's officially Spring, that it was in the final week(s) of Winter. Wacky, wacky, California weather at its finest.

I haven't been very prolific with hand-crafting so far this year, but I did manage to knit a baby hat in an afternoon. It was the 10 cable version of this

Huh, I thought that sentence was clearer. No one gave Whitney's Mom and Dad, as the people opening the packages, hats for Whitney (not Mom and Dad hats.)

And thanks. I knit one last year for Hailey, whom was born in November, and Her Mom giggled because I gave her the baby gifts on said Mom's birthday (I gave Mom a card for her b-day as well.)

Yeah, I saw this picture of Whitney in a NICU freebie hat. And yeah, kinda boring hat in psychedelic yarn, Whitney's head made it pop right off.
