I got thrown completely out of the episode the moment Steve called after his nightmare and I thought FINALLY Danny's going to have a meaningful scene again, cause Steve is ready to admit he has some shit to work through and then they cut to Steve'n'Grover (even though I have to say Danny was a great hope, but I knew Grover was coming because of the previous episode's set up of course). And never mind the left-fielding of important goings-on that continue to rattle me but not surprise with the writer's rooms abysmal track record of thinking it's a good idea to assume people will fill in the blanks of off-screen story development, what really pissed me off is the fact that I feel more and more like they're screen-testing us for the feasibility of just full on replacing Danny with Grover (because supposedly Scott wants out or they want him out is frankly the egg and the hen at this point) and I admit I like Grover and all, but if you're going to do a switcheroo that's supposed to be as phased in and stealthmode looking at Scott Caan and ( ... )

True, though I don't even want to think about the way the film and TV industry has no idea how to deal with the viewership in the international community of fandom (to which I belong, since I'm not an English native speaker) which would have tremendous economic potential if they were just able and willing to think out of the box and see beyond their noses on how to mine that potential.

And FEELINGS, god, I has them. Especially for Teen Wolf right now because that one bowled me over. But all of my fan-shows have generated a lot of feels these past weeks.

Oh, geez, if you had told me at the beginning of the season that the show I would be squeeing about the most would be Teen Wolf, I would've laughed in your face. I can't believe how much I love 3B after how much 3A sucked.

I have been bowled over so badly by the acting whizz badassery that is Dylan O'Brien! I mean, I've loved Stiles from the first shot he had on screen, but never mind Melissa, I BELIEVED HIS TEARS.

God, so much BAMF! And we're like at the end of the season and I still have no idea where it's going to end up and I don't even mind all the dumb romance shit. Makes me feel like Supernatural is happening all over again. And it's both sad (cause I'm excited about SPN and all, I am, but I feel like we left college, got a serious career and settled down, had a couple of kids and... wait... uhm... ) and glorious and infinite awesome. Teen Wolf needs a listing in the fandom drug manual.

And he doesn't seem to have any limits! Some people can do comedy but not drama, or action but not romance, or whatever, but Dylan has killed every single thing he's been given.

And I'm just so happy that it's canon now that Stiles is in Scott's pack and that Scott is his alpha. I hope Show does something with that next season.

Teen Wolf needs a listing in the fandom drug manual.

No kidding. I thought I'd try an episode or two because one of my favorite fic authors had just started writing Sterek fic, and the next thing I knew I'd mainlined 2 seasons.

He is easily the most talented and versatile of the bunch of them, that's for sure and they've finally given him something to work with beyond spazzy underestimated sidekick, so yay.

I got into Teen Wolf on a whim because one of my friends was excited about the upcoming show and then it became my dirty little secret, because no way a MTV-show had any business being this good while being so bad in other ways... but well, if you look at the production credits and the mind behind Criminal Minds on the tin, things are not so surprising anymore.

totally with you on the bad and 'good' sides of Scotty possibly leaving completely. In some ways it's worse to have the character diminished this way - false hope just keeps the disappointment fresh. *sad face*.

Yes. I mean, I'm living for those moments ... and then they never come the way they used to.

And I'm still agog at how all characters just dismiss him so easily (unless, thankfully, it's case-related - but personal stuff? He's the one they point and laugh at). I'm especially irritated with how Max and Danny used to have this lighthearted gibing and now it's all Max being mean. Seriously, neither Grover nor Clara understood that what Max was saying to her boiled down to, "Your son's an asshole, too bad he's not more like you."?!

And it's the way he stands there and takes it all the time. What happened to the Danny who had a snappy comeback for every occasion?

I confess the idea of Scott leaving fills me with both dread and relief.

I feel the same way. I never put all my eggs in the McDanno basket, but all the things I loved about the show (clever banter, creative stunts, ohana feels, cast screen chemistry, and the friendship between Steve and Danny) have largely disappeared. It's been sad watching the fandom die off with them. If Danny is written off the show, that will be just be the final nail in the coffin for me.

I actually got that vibe from his very first appearance. I still like Grover, but he's not Danny. Of course, neither is Danny lately.

That is what's bothering me most about all of it. Whether or not there's really some behind the scenes shit going on that contributes to the conundrum in some way, or it's just artistic douchbaggery (which would actually be worse because then they wouldn't have justification) I'm really not on board with what they've been doing. If Scott really wants out, then give us Danny and then kill him in a meaningful and heroic way so we can mourn and have closure and Steve has a real reason for his issues (although I'm not positive the show could take that hit either way) but these slow pathetic death throes of a character and his story, I can't take that. And yeah, I realize that I'm way too invested in all of that, but it's what I do with my shows.

I don't actually want Danny to die because of what that will do to Grace, but yeah, at this point I'd like Danny to get a big send-off so I could walk away guaranteed I'm not missing anything.

I get emotionally invested in the characters of my shows too, even when the shows themselves aren't that good. I've watched some real crap on TV because I fell in fannish love with one or more of the characters.

Yeah, what would happen to Grace in the wake of that would totally devastate me, for sure, but I really need a clean cut for this show.
