big bang overhaul...
Taking a quick break from writing. I've been totally overhauling my big bang the past few days. It's turning into a bitch. And so I'm spitting my thoughts out onto LJ to clear my head so I can continue working on it tonight.

I don't think you should worry about the finishing/if anyone will like it--if you are comfortable and happy with the idea, then you will be able to write a much better fic and that will shine through. You will be able to put your all into and not have it fall through. Just keep working at it and everything will come through :) I'm having the same worry as my fic is 40k and it's a really bleak, slow-moving plot and has a lot more introspection than action. But there's a reader for everything. I'm too worried. For the most part, when it's not being a major bitch, I love my fic and I'll be happy with the reviews I get.

You speak the truth. This whole thing started off as an idea I really liked, and I was enjoying it, and then I think I just got bogged down by What Ifs ,etc, and I think it shows. I just need to get back to enjoying it, so thanks for that reminder :o) And true about different audiences... there's a readership for everything (thank goodness lol).
I'm glad you're enjoying your fic! That's what's important (as you said), and I'm sure it'll all come together awesomely. :o) And 40k! Awesome! It's nice to change it up and see a variety of fic/writing, so an emphasis on introspection will be a nice thing to see. Best of luck with it! :o)

No problem. Sometimes we do get caught up in the what ifs. It's hard not to. You spend all this time working on a fic--you WANT people to enjoy it.
I'm sure yours will come together amazing as well. It is nice to see different fic, I just hope people are ready for it, lol. Best of luck to you, too!
