2012 In Review

Jan 03, 2013 21:05

Last year I was too late, so I was determined to make sure I did it this year... then promptly forgot. Luckily, dvswraatins has just done hers, which both reminded me to get my ass in gear, and provided a neat little frame to steal :D Thanks, hon!

Hey hon,
hope you had a wonderful holiday <3

Just popping in to say thanks for the thanks *blush* and to wish you a happy new year before I stumble off to bed.

Finally, here's my reply!

thanks for the thanks *blush*

You've just reminded me of something I meant to show you a while back - scan down and look for your name :)

And a second one...

I did not have a terribly wonderful holiday, no, but that's a rant for another time. I do have high hopes that 2013 will be better :) And a happy, and very belated, new year to you too!

lol, we pretty much have the same goals for 2013. though I worded mine quite differently, I think. whatever :)

totally agree with your opinions about Avalanche and Endgame though :) those are probably my two faves of the ones you've written.

(oops, somehow responded to ownsariver's comment at first. I'm a dumbass)

Yeah you were very cagey ;) Do we have something to look forward to in 2013? Eh? Also, while I'm at it, I am seriously in awe of your wordcount. Even including the novel and various unfinished projects, I'd still come in way under 200k, and this has been a really productive year for me! I bow down to your nimble fingers *g*

haha I didn't mean to be cagey at all :) I had been working on one novel since late December 2011, and then recently I started a new one for National Novel Writing Month...I'd say that the former is maybe 50% written and the latter is probably at at least 80%, but I've gotten an option to get some copies of the one that's closer to being finished published...problem is, I have to make sure it's finished and edited by like March. I'm...not very good with deadlines, haha.

and didn't you run a marathon this year?! I'd say that's a good excuse for "only" writing somewhere between 100-200k words ;)

OMG best of luck with the deadline meeting. Let me know when it's coming out and I will pimp it in the community :)

And yes, I did run a marathon - good point, m'lady ;)

Wooho!! Congrats and good luck with your novel! That's really cool, and you're sort of a role model to me for that cause one day i want to try it out muself.
I know it'll be great cause everything i've ever read from you with the fab Sansa-Sandor fics have been a really entretaining read! :)

Yay thank you :) Wow, role-model, eh? I am very flattered. Fanfic is definitely excellent practise - I started seriously writing fanfic about 10 years ago, but I could never have written a novel back then. I've learnt an awful lot in that time. Good luck to you, and I am chock full of advice if ever you want any ;)
