I agree with you about the general awesomeness of the episode, and the humor in a serious drama ep actually working for once. But I was utterly convinced that the sleep-spell needed Morgana's consent to work, and we did get a whole big scene in which she vowed her willingness to help Morgause overthrow Uther. So I do think she made one small but far-reaching decision in this episode, and at this point, I am holding onto every shred of Morgana agency we have.
Now the fact that Morgause didn't tell Morgana what she was consenting to is a whole other story....but I've only just gotten my 2x10 and 2x11 reviews up, so I'm still pondering that for the 2x12 review....
I agree with you that she made a decision this epi, but I also think it's pretty much the only one all season, so saying she chose to use her powers for evil was a little far-fetched imo. Maybe I just hate Gaius so much that I'm doing that thing where I disagree with everything he says just on principle!
