My very brief thoughts under the cut...
Finally managed to find time to watch Merlin, and generally I thought it was an awesome episode. Arthur was just... scrumptious. The editing was tight and the humour actually worked. And Merlin's dilemma was genuinely unenviable. But Gaius still makes me want to put my fist through the screen, with his line "she chose not to use her powers for good." As far as I can tell, pretty much the only decision Morgana has made this season has been the one in this ep where she sought her own freedom from Uther's tyranny. This is not in itself a "bad" choice. Boo, show, boo.
