The old days

Every once in a while, a person or a name pops up on the radio or elsewhere, someone I knew years ago in one capacity or another. Of course, now that I'm in my late 70s, it is more likely to be someone younger than I am; most of the adults whom I looked up to as role models when I was in my 20s and 30s are long dead.
