Summary: American Vampire issues ten and eleven dropped and he knew Marie was looking forward to them.

He'd sent Marie an email letting her know that she had a comic pickup at the shop. When he'd gotten the shipment in, he had set aside the first copy for her, since he knew that it was one of her favorites. Issue Eleven had just dropped as well and he stuck that in her box as well. He smiled at the thought of the look on her face. American Vampire was one of the more interesting things to come out of the Vertigo line lately.
Centering around the idea that every different part of the world produces a different vampiric bloodline, which comes with their own weaknesses, and strengths. The American Vampire as Skinner Sweet, an Old West outlaw was fascinating. And then the plotline with the actress...and it's been a compelling, fascinating, and bloody joyride through the world of American Vampire. Predominantly set against the backdrop of the '20s and the Hollywood Babylon of the day. He didn't know whether it was the pacing, the artwork, or the amazing writing that made it such a good series to watch. Marie had good taste. No sparkly vampires here.
The first ten issues were just collected into a graphic paperback which he needed to tell her about as well. He was expecting her to pop in any moment now.
