Marie had gotten changed and out of her apartment as quickly as she could. Normally, she would have tried to look a little nicer for work but it had been a long day and she figured that River wouldn't mind so she had settled for her navy sweat pants, flip flops, and a lights sweater over a plain white t-shirt. Being a native Texan, Marie knew that the nice weather they had had this weekend wouldn't last long, and she was determined to enjoy it while it lasted.
After she pulled up to the bakery, Marie quickly grabbed her purse and got out of her car. She hoped she hadn't taken too long.
