RP: A little help, here?

Brett felt like his shift had been longer than normal, but that was probably because he'd been up late the night before seeing the Rocky Horror Picture Show. Still, he was on a pediatrics rotation right now and he was happy about that since it was the field he was wanting to be in eventually.
He went into the room at the end of the hall and was alarmed to discover the patient vomiting. He checked the chart and found that the child was seven year old Jason Phillips. Apparently he'd been vomiting frequently all day long, and Brett feared that something was seriously wrong and definitely above his experience and expertise. He smoothed the boy's hair back and spoke quickly, "Jason, I'll be right back, okay? Be strong for me." The boy nodded, so he hurried out of the room to find someone who could help.
To his relief, he saw Dr. Gardner down the hall. "Dr. Gardner? Could you please come see this patient if you have a minute?"
