Ariel thought this was just the ticket right now. She had always been thrifty, and lately it was paying off as she squirreled more and more money, slowly, into her little stash of savings. Soon she was even considering getting a bank account. It would be the first time ever for her.

"I don't think you'll ever get enough of those," Ariel said with a grin as she fingered a pretty little watch. It was nice, but it needed a new battery from the looks of it. She put it back down in favor of fingering a pretty little scarf.

She looked over at another booth. "Oooh, shoes. I wonder if they'll have anything in our sizes," she said, perking. It had been awhile since she'd bought a pair of shoes.

"Nah, you're right." She shrugged and slipped the stack onto a free finger on her right hand and then held her hand out, wiggling her fingers so they'd catch some of the light. "I feel like shopping's a bad idea with my current financial deal, but a lot of this stuff's dirt cheap, so whatever."

She bought the rings, talking the merchant down a little bit because she was buying the set and one of them was a little loose, then joined Ariel by the shoes. "Shoes are iffy sometimes," she said, poking through a pair, "finding the right fit and all. But looks like they got a bunch to choose from. You'd look good in these." She handed over a pair of red flats.

"I shouldn't be doing too much either, but these are cheap and pretty." And she was used to having stuff like that, and in general had a good eye for the nice looking stuff. She'd always had to work on a very limited budget.

"Yeah, but sometimes you find that gem." She grinned as Harley picked up a set of red shoes. "Oooh, dude, you are such a mindreader. I've had an eye out for a pair of red shoes. I want to do little red riding hood for Halloween, I think." Though she wasn't sure if she would do heels or flats, though if she was going to be out for awhile... she looked at the shoes speculatively.

"Yeah, I'm just that good." Harley snorted as Ariel took the shoes, and drifted to a pair of boots for herself. Like she didn't have enough boots. "Red Riding Hood, huh? You and your fairytales," she said with a little smile as she tested the wear on pair of blue Docs that had definitely seen better days. "You should get 'em. They're nice and bright, and you don't want to spend a ton of money on something you're wearing as part of a costume."

She tilted her head as she put the Docs down. She already had some in red and black anyway. "Haven't really thought about Halloween yet. Never really celebrated it before, except for when Reen gets all festive at the garage and then it's just like a witch hat usually, and some makeup that's a tiny bit more out there than what I usually wear," she joked.
