Date: October 1, 2011 Characters: Caleb Young, anyone else Location: Muse Status: Public Summary: the pride parade spills into Muse for the night. Completion: Incomplete
Stephen hadn't had much interest in the auction, but the party sounded good. He didn't want avoid the Pride festivties altogether. He might not join PFLAG anytime soon, but he wanted Tyler to know that he supported him even if it was just by buying a drink or two and maybe getting terrorized by a drag queen.
He accepted a colorful shot, downed it and looked out over the party with a small smile.
Marie and Ryan had made their way to Muse after Pride. They hadn't been able to convince Ava to come along, but Marie was still glad that they got to hang out some earlier. It hadn't been too long after they arrived at Muse, that Ryan had gotten pulled out to the dance floor. Marie had been happy to see him finally get out there with other people, so she let him do his own thing and wondered around instead.
Stephen glanced over and found a pretty girl next to him. The liquor already loosening him and figuring there was a good chance she was a lesbian, he went the 'can't hurt' approach.
Marie glanced over, not quiet sure at first if the guy had been talking to her. "Yeah," Marie said, smiling at the guy. "I hadn't known the place was gonna go all out for Pride."
Audrey put on one of her favorite disco sets and left it playing while she took a break, heading down to mill around the floor. Everyone was having so much fun they probably weren't even paying attention to the music, and the excitement was contagious.
She danced briefly with a guy in a killer leather vest, then moved to the bar for a club soda, budging up close to a stocky and very grumpy guy. He had a death grip on his beer and it made her smile more than anything.
"Did you make a wrong turn somewhere, Cutie?" She took her soda with a grin for the bartender, then turned to the guy. "You look like you want to be somewhere else."
Gabe turned to the blonde who appeared next to him. He raised a brow, looked down at himself then pointedly around at everyone else. He shrugged. He would wait it out a bit, but man, did they have to play disco? At least some classic rock would help.
He tilted his bottle towards her in salute. He'd have to ask Caleb for a schedule, if he saw him again. This sort of night wasn't really him.
"Yeah, you stick out. I got that." She winked. "Kinda strange to be in a place where jeans and plaid sticks out and all this..." she turned in a circle, " fits right in. But that's Pride for you."
She inclined her head toward him and smiled. "I'm Audrey. You don't talk much."
The day had been strange. It was the first day since Dylan had moved that Josh hadn't been to Serenity. It had been tempting to go, because it was weird not to be there, but he'd promised Cal. Instead, he'd spent the day helping Cal prepare for a the party tonight, and he'd swung by the street festival for Pride briefly. Cal had made sure he'd eaten lunch and dinner, and he felt better than he had in a while. Probably because he was eating better and actually doing something besides working, which he knew in his head but it hadn't been easy to convince his heart that he should follow his own advice

Robert felt amazing. He'd taken a shower, washed the stink off of him and then allowed Riley to talk him into a shirt and then right back out of it. To hit the dresscode to get in, he wore the tight, black, button-down shirt along with the "come fuck me" jeans, as Riley liked to call them. His black boots were good enough for the club. He just hoped that all that oil Riley had insisted on wasn't staining his shirt.
"Drink and then dancing or dancing and then drink or drinks and dancing?" Robert asked as they entered the club. There were a lot of people here wearing a lot of different clothes. Robert was really looking forward to this. Who knew, maybe he'd even get a number or two.
Riley grinned at Robert, tugging him further into the club. "Drinks first, definitely. After all, I've got to get a few in you so you won't hate me when I cover you in glitter." She took his hand and pulled him towards the bar, waiting until they can get to the bar to get beers.
"If you are even contemplating craft herpes, you will be buying all the drinks all night." Robert let himself get tugged into the bar further until they were at the bar and ordering. He ordered the seasonal Sam Adam's and then gestured at Riley to order.
He looked around, people watching, and enjoying the varying reactions - those that had obviously been at Pride and those that had no idea that Pride had happened and looking shocked/appalled/bemused at all the people. Just then, a drag queen walked by and touched his cheek. Afraid of glitter, he touched his cheek and rubbed his fingers across it and then looked at his fingertips in the poor lighting of the club.
Riley ordered two tequila shots and a Corona, downing the shots before jamming the lime down the bottleneck and turning to Robert. "Oh honey, I'll not do it while you're still suspicious. But it's inevitable, like you taking your shirt off. Well, and me too. Taking my shirt off, that is."
What. The. Fuck. While Taehyun hadn't known what to expect from Muse, he knew it certainly wasn't the splash of unicorn barf that greeted him. Just... holy shit. After taking it all in, Taehyun headed straight for the bar. He was not drunk enough for this.

"Hey." He said quietly. "Some party, huh?"
Slick.

When he entered the place, though, it looked like a unicorn had puked. Or pooped. Or exploded. Either way, he was certainly in for a night of it.
He hovered at the bar, beer firmly in hand, wondering if there was a way to be invisible.
