Neve didn't make a habit of stopping by the hospital on her days off - but today she had needed to drop in and get a piece of paperwork. While there she stopped at the triage desk to talk with the nurses when a car crash victim was wheeled into the ER. She was off shift, she shouldn't have even been near them, but force of habit made her jump towards the gurney, and regret it nearly a second later when she recognized the victim ( ... )

Ezra's phone buzzed and he glanced at the screen, laughing and wondering what Neve could possible need from him when she was supposed to be home in a bit. Answering the phone, he frowned when he heard the tone in Neve's voice and practically dropped the phone when he heard the rest of what his sister had to say. "Erica?" He was positive he had heard her right, and when Neve confirmed that yes she had said Erica, Ezra's mind began to race and he started seeing those white spots you get right before you might pass out ( ... )

J.J. had been midway through saying something to Erica when he heard sounds that he was positive nobody wanted to hear on the other end of a phone call, and his stomach dropped when realized what had happened. "Ri, Ri? Bloody Hell, Ri, answer me." He begged her to say something to him, but he knew it was useless, he had heard everything from her end of the line, he was positive he had just heard Erica get into a car accident ( ... )
