Date: January 14, 2011 Characters: Max Stuart, Jay Shaw Location: random bar, unspecified Status: Semi-Public, ping to play Summary: Max needs to get out more. Fortunately, Jay can help with that.. Completion: Complete
Jay shook his head as he walked out to Max's car. He opened the car door and slid in. "Dude, you are so lucky all of my neighbors go home for the evenings." It had been a good pain day and a great working day, and now he was happy to go out and have some fun. "Where we going?"
Max snorted. "You're lucky. I don't live here to listen to any complaining. "Figured one of the old haunts from my early construction days. Total dive, but there's no hordes of females waiting to descend like praying mantis's." He snickered. "You good for the night?" He referred obliquely to Jay's need for a cane.
Max drove over to the rougher area the bar was in, feeling himself oddly relax to return to old stomping grounds. He hoped it would distract from the worries that had begun to accumulate. Though really, hanging around with Jay was the best fix for that. The man was so laidback, Max didn't know how he did it.
Inside, it was dark, old-looking, and not a teenybopping female in sight. Max sighed with relief as they found a booth. Max ordered a beer and a shot of whiskey.
"Only if the breaker is also going to stick around and repair the breakee." Max said definitively. "Its one thing to call it the little death, it's another to lead to the big death."

"Got plans for the weekend?" He asked.
