Remember earlier this summer when some Asian guy approached me on the Metro? And how the more I thought about the incidence, the more I wondered if it couldn't be some guy I knew once upon a time in high school

I say go, just to check him out and see if he remembers you as the girl on the train :) I'm curious enough about him to go, and I'm not even an alumni of your school :P Heh.

Oh, and thanks for the tip re: PBS reairing of that opera. I'm going to TiVo it, as well as some of the other operas that will be reairing later this week. I dunno if I'll get through them, but I'll try, lol. Who knows, maybe I'll like televised opera better than RL opera. (And when I think about it, maybe I will, especially if they do close-ups of the stage and actors, because when you're watching in RL you can only see the whole picture from far away and that's not always interesting)

Dude, you should go. It'll be good to catch up with not only him, but other alums in the area. Maybe drop him an e-mail before the event, so that you look for each other when you're there...
