I'm totally lovin' the fact that half the town is still on vacation. The trains should always be this empty and timely. *bliss*

What a weird evening it's been.

I missed yoga tonight (the regular kind, not Bikram; I'm not that insane) thanks to the stupid Metro. *kicks trains* And I'd been looking forward to it all day. Hrmph.

( On the other hand, I got to see a bike run into a car. )

My high school's alumni association hosted a reception at the Cosmos Club this evening. I went mainly because I'll never have another opportunity to go inside as it's a private social club, and I'll certainly never qualify for membership! Ugh.  My favorite part of the day - trying to catch the bus home.  The crazy Inauguration traffic has already begun!  I just waited a whole freakin' hour for a bus that NEVER showed up.  Which is just wrong anyway because, yes, traffic was horrible and congested but it was still moving.  So, surely a bus should've appeared at some point during that ( Read more... )
