Okay, so I'm totally ignorant, what is "threading" and how is it different from just plucking or waxing? *question from a plucker in my own bathroom mirror*

It's similar to waxing in that more than one hair is removed at a time, unlike plucking. But whereas waxing kind of removes hair all at once, threading is done by the beautician rolling a cotton thread over the skin to pull the hair out, so it's more sectional I guess you could say. It's supposed to last longer and, personally, I find it less irritating. The one time I had my eyebrows waxed, I broke out into a rash where I was red and itchy, and severely irritated. You couldn't pay me to have it done again. This is why I like threading better.

Wikipedia's definition of threading.

Just curious... how much is it for threading a pair of eyebrows? There is only one place in my hometown that does it, and I think it charges its client about $15 CAD.
