The Love Hotel Online: Open Beta || Aphro depends on situation

It didn't take long for the simple project to become a notorious one. A guild, little more than just a gathering of like minded players, soon turned into a properly large entity. An entity that reached into the various towns that this game had, and would undoubtedly spread as time continued. And while the guild had a proper name, there was a very ( Read more... )

a challenger appears! moemagic December 2 2011, 06:03:34 UTC
There was however one organization of heroes that were known throughout the land. They were the Angels of Justice. Most villains and people who enjoyed walking a long the darker paths often had several run ins with them. They were the ones who kept the streets safe. They saw to it that the bad guys were punished and the people of the land all in all lived peacefully ( ... )

Word had come, and he really wasn't sure if he wanted to believe it or not, but sure enough there was indeed an Angel picking at his delicious, delicious fruit. To think, something from the fluffy clouds had come down to his little hovel. It was all kinds of interesting. For one, these players went for killings in different ways. They were beautiful, which meant that the Thieves guild would pay a pretty penny to own them, and their feathers were wonderfully valuable. It was also pretty ballsy, floating down and picking fruit on Assassin turf ( ... )

Oh no. She wasn't expecting to be found so easily. Honestly she was only going to pick a couple of pomegranates and return back to that safe haven in the clouds. But now it looked like things were starting to get a bit deep.
When she turned to face him, her wings folded down behind herself and she took a step back away from him instinctively.

It was her own fault for being so naive and coming down to the lower level without taking anyone with her. Then again, she really didn't want to bother nor pester anyone into going with her. Everyone else was busy tending to other matters up there, so she didn't want to be a burden.

The other mistake she had made was that she left her weapons back at the fortress when she really should have taken them with her.

"Ah, I apologize." She said and bit down upon her lip for a moment.

"But if you let me go, I'll give you one of my feathers in exchange for causing trouble."

The instinctive step back was really just a welcome bid for the assassin to take a few forward, closing the distance between them, though by no means invading her personal space. "See, that'd be a good deal and all, but I could technically have the whole lot of them if I just kept you around. Just pointing that out and all, figured it might help to show the kinda situation you're in." It might not have been a comforting reply, but really, what did she expect?

"Gonna fill me in on why you're here?" He already knew some of it, but at this point, the game was afoot.

Nero didn't belong to any guild. That just meant you had to follow pointless orders and get along with others and wait for the proper party to be formed before you could storm a dungeon and thrash up monsters. Not exactly her cup of tea. Oh she'd tried it all right. But after blatantly disregarding senior members for the umpteenth time she'd been requested to seek a guild elsewhere ( ... )

Now, there were quite a few different types of people in the room when the sudden and snazzy dramatic entrance took place. They ran the gauntlet of looks, from big and bulky and covered in armor, to slim and busty with practically nothing. A hand full of them had masks on, all featureless and all white...save for the one wearing shades over top. And he happened to look the most plain of all otherwise ( ... )

"Ha ha ha. You're a really funny guy Mr. King, aren't ya?" Nero ignored the commotion being made by the rest of the room's occupants. She didn't really give a shit about those mooks. Small fries were of no concern whatsoever to her. All she cared about was the big boss. And she was positive it was this dork wearing the shades over his mask.

"I don't belong to any damn guild," she grinned and hefted her absurdly huge sword up, pointing it right at the (obviously) smirking man (almost decapitating a random guild member in the process who was getting just a liiiittle too close), "I'm here to have a PvP with you. And after I'll be taking some of your guild's best loot. Hope you don't mind."

Now while he certainly did not look the part of the big hot shot guild leader, Crownless was certainly the cock of the walk. His level was high, almost ludicrously so, and while his armor might look bottom rung, it was stacked with abilities that accentuated his hard and fast style of fighting. After all, there was no reason to defend if your opponent couldn't hit you.

"You. Wanna fight me..." He even pointed between the two of them in turn. "And you're gonna use something you stole from a construction site to do it? Well shit, I admire your balls." He made no move to pull out his weapons, instead leaning forward and making as if to give her a good look.

"I'll accept your challenge, but if we're gonna PVP, we're doing it by the guild rules and reward system."

A new recruit? orange_beats December 3 2011, 04:50:12 UTC
Jake, or as he was known in the world of the game, DJ Orange, was doing pretty well. He'd been gaining levels pretty quickly and having a lot of fun doing it. He''s heard about the Guild and had decided to check them out. When that led to an invite to join, he certainly wasn't about to turn it down. The group seemed like a good fit for him judging by what he heard.

His character looked mostly like himself in leather and chainmail. He'd even managed to find a pair of headphones to complete his look. Leaning against a wall, he waited. He'd been told he was going to meet the man in charge of the whole guild before he would join the group or not so he was being patient.

New members were good, though recruits had a tendency to leave shortly thereafter. They had a good way of going about that, keeping the meat and potatoes away from the whelps until they've taken the oath. Weed out the ones looking for instant gratification instead of the ones dedicated to work. Still didn't mean they couldn't have fun with the people that came a looking. And they often did.

King Crownless always met newcomers personally, and separately. So sometimes it did take a little while to get to each recruit. This time, however, he tried to be at least a little punctual about it, and soon enough he was there to greet his new talent.

"DJ Orange, huh? Sup."

"The one and only, man," he greeted with a grin. Pushing off the wall, DJ Orange smoothed out his clothes and stood up a bit straighter. His grin got a little wider when he noticed the man's sunglasses. He liked when a leader had style.

"Not much right now. They said I'd get to meet with you before I sighed up. "

Anyone would tell you that the boss was big on the whole guild doing what it was always intended to do. It was kind of his thing and all. But that didn't mean that he couldn't have fun. Quite the contrary, actually.

He had to give this guy one thing. He had spunk.

"Yeah, that's how we do it around here. I meet with new blood, we do a little song and dance." He waved his hand dismissively. "Good times abound."
