Kyouraku Shunsui, Captain of the 8th Division of the Gotei 13 was a well-known patron of the red light district of Soul Society. The younger son of one of the most respectable families, it seemed he had made it his duty to sink their expectations of him.

There was something so intriguing about the sights and smells of the place.  Despair never dared ( Read more... )

Matsumoto Rangiku Fuku-taichou of the 10th Division of the Gotei 13 was wandering around down the street heading towards her favorite bar. Her stuffy Taichou had made her work later because she had fallen asleep instead of finishing her paperwork and she was in need of some good sake and perhaps a good fuck as well.

She tossed her blond hair over her shoulder and loosened her top a bit more revealing even more of her ample chest to those who wished to look at her. As she turned the corner she smiled. A familiar face and presence caught her eye and she walked towards him.

Shunnsui sensed her coming towards him, and turned. Rangiku-san of all people? He was surprised (he'd been under the impression that they didn't let normal women into red light districts), but she was one of the bolder women of the Gotei 13. Well if she could do it without any kind of repercussions, then who was he to judge? From underneath his hat, he eyed her appreciatively, then stopped himself before she got too near.

[ooc:// I'm not sure his sense of duty will let him mess around with a subordinate, even if Rangiku is from another division lol. Perhaps if he gets drunk enough XD]

[ooc: even if she's willing? They are very god friends after all and typically do go drinking together. but tis your muse XD]

Rangiku approached and smiled up at him though he wasn't much taller than she was. "Good evening~" She said with a slightly teasing lilt as was not unusual with her.

Whether or not she was supposed to be here she never cared. No one had ever tried to kick her out and if they had she had just batter her striking blue eyes, wiggled her chest a little and left them staring as she continued on her way. She was never ashamed of her appearance and had no problems using what she was blessed with to get her way. It also helped that she was far more attractive then some of the other women in the area.

[ooc:// Heh I think it would be mostly because they're friends lol. He wouldn't want to put any potential strain on their relationship, especially since he's not one to commit. But you never know!]

It was mostly his slouching that made him seem shorter. He was actually a good 7 inches taller. "Well, now, what do we have here?" he said, grinning. "Out for a night on the town, Rangiku-san?"

Was that the famed nobleman Lord Kyouraku? Why, yes, indeed it was!

Nanao was but a humble clerk in his household, and even if he did occasionally favor her with his humor, she was certainly too low in rank for such a one as he to take as a regular mistress. However, his kind words had often warmed her heart, and she blushed in fondly recalled emotion as she saw him further down the street. Her arms were laden with purchases - lengths of silk, combs, and the like - and she had just finished giving the vendor her household's address so that he could call for payment in the morning. It was sad, but this end of town was really the best place to go if you wanted to find the good silks.

Wait... was that... no it couldn't be.

"Nanao-chaan?" he said, suddenly catching sight of her. She looked so out of place with her dark clothes amidst the brightly colored clothes of the other denizens here. He sauntered up to her, touching his hat slightly as he approached.

"How did you come to be here?"

Nanao flushed, her arms full of purchases, and ducked a bow. She would have preferred him to see her in a more flattering situation.

"Kyouraku-taichou. I hope I have not transgressed by coming here. Some of the fabrics required for your new robes, and for the lady who you favored two nights ago - and the necklace for that lady of the Shiba clan - and the perfumes -" She realized she was stammering, and tried to behave more normally. "I thought I should see to it myself, sir."

Shunsui couldn't help but laugh at seeing the normally stoic woman so flustered. "There, there," he said, gently touching her shoulder. "I'm not going to yell at you. It's a bit dangerous though. Why didn't you ask one of my men to go instead?"

[ooc: I... shall try! Aged up if that's squicky or let me know if this isn't okay all around!!]

Shouma was certainly a strange sight among the red light district. His appearance wasn't completely natural, blue hair and green eyes sticking out like a sore thumb. He ignored any questions about his features or his strange looks. He was a mere worker of the trade, who would sleep with anyone who could potentially benefit him. It was a questionable lifestyle, but no one cared in the red light district once one stepped foot inside. Happiness, drunkenness, any form of debauchery was welcome with open arms. So why worry?

Looking for a potential customer, Shouma fixed himself in his own kimono, walking around looking for someone who would be willing to have some time with a youthful boy such as himself. He caught sight of Shunsui as he weeded through the crowd, flashing a small, polite smile as he hoped to draw any attention.

[ooc: yayy. Don't mind him. He's just a little wary of pretty boys. ]

Through the crowd Shunsui caught a glimpse of a pretty young... well, he wasn't particularly sure. Ever polite, he smiled back, unsure of whether or not this was something he wanted to pursue. Maybe he should just pass by...

He smiled more once Shunsui returned the polite grin, weeding out of the crowd a little. He stood on the side, wrapped up in a feminine kimono, complimenting his features well. Of course, it might add to the man's confusion. He beckoned him with a hand motion, hoping to signal him. It was up to Shunsui if he wanted to come to Shouma.

He just couldn't be sure. Whatever it was, he had to admit that it was cute. Ah well, why not? Shunsui wasn't one to get easily embarrassed. He slowly made his way toward the other. "Good evening," he said.

From time to time the Head of the Kuchiki Household would slip into the Rukon districts to reminisce of happier times with Hisana. Byakuya would forgo all signs that he was from one of the great noble houses and a Captain of the Gotei, leaving his long ebony strands of hair loose this time instead of wasting the time to pin or tie it back, and dressed in one of the many plainer kimonos he had hid away from the strict elders.

This time however he hadn't counted on catching the sight of any of his fellow shinigami, especially another high noble even if he knew that Kyouraku would keep his secret.

Even before he caught sight of the other man, he could sense Byakuya's familiar reiatsu. Shushui turned with a flourish of robes. He didn't say anything aloud, but he did nod at him in acknowledgment.

"I trust that my nighttime wanderings will not become the latest gossip to be spread around the Gotei, Kyouraku-sensei." The younger man remarked as he suddenly stood beside the elder.

Shunsui was not fazed. "Ah, I'm sure I can find better topics of conversation than that to keep me entertained," he said.

"Just out for a stroll then?" he asked innocently.
