Charlie didn't know why she had accepted the invite to this masked ball, it really wasn't her thing - getting all dressed up with make-up and jewels - but her sisters had pestered her and her mother insisted hoping that the second eldest Weasley might meet someone there as well as have a surprisingly good time.

At least the mask was something comfortable. The black suit with the orange lining and pinstripes however was not. The very odd thing about all of this, however, was that fact that scarce moments ago he'd been out in Romania. Now he was at a ball.

With her Gryffindor courage strong Charlie zigged and zagged her way over to the black and silver dragon, hating inwardly admitting that Willie and Perce were right about her only love being dragons or anything dragon related.

"Not really your scene either?" She asked the red haired stranger before also asking the bartender for a whiskey but with a little dash of soda water in it.

Charlie was mid sip when the girl caught his attention. Not one to simply waste a drink he nodded, swallowed and cleared his throat at the burn. "gah, ah...no not really. Still trying to get my head around how I got here actually." He couldn't help a grin at the whiskey and soda, good taste.

"Least there incentive to stay." He held up the whiskey glass.

"A free-bar as always a good reason to stay." Charlotte agreed before downing her own glass, thankful that the soda took off the edge. "So, kidnapped or unwilling talked into this horrid thing?"
