5 Star Restaurant/Intro/Aphro

It was rare for Caro to be caught unawares lately, but here she was, fully immersed in a restaurant setting. She was moving from table to table, dressed in a pretty black skirt with a white blouse, waiting on tables. Nodding to the order, she swept towards the back and tapped in the order ( Read more... )

Another girl, taller and fuller-figured than Caro but wearing the same basic but elegant uniform, is already slouching slightly at the table. It's the lull between the early dinner parties and the high-class alcohol-heavy functions, and Kusuha is using it to relax and get off her feet for a bit - or such is the scenario the Hotel's giving her today. Even if she was aware of it, she probably wouldn't complain. As shy as she is, her dedication to hard work and easy smile are enough to make her a good waitress. Just, right now, a tired and distracted one.

She looks up at the girl she doesn't recognize coming to the break table, and gives her a friendly smile. "Hi. Did you need someone to go cover your tables...?" she offers politely, even if she's only been sitting for a minute or so. Teamwork is very important when waiting tables. Or doing anything else.

"I've gotten Minori to do that," replied Caro, smiling up at the blue haired girl. "Thank you for offering though."

She regarded Kuzuha curiously. "I don't think we've worked the same shift together, have we?"

"Oh! No, we haven't," Kusuha replies, a little startled this hadn't registered on her earlier. Then again, she had been pretty busy. "My name is Kusuha Mizuha. Um, Kusuha's fine since we're working together," she says, pausing a little in her introduction. She's been working on being more outgoing lately, and this seems like a good opportunity to practice.

"Caro La Ruche. You can just call me Caro. Nice to meet you Kusuha," said Caro, smiling at her. "Are you on break yet? We could sit and talk for a while."

Well, this place was definitely rather, well, nice. Both the world, and the restaurant. Zed was pretty lucky. Usually he stuck to a few specific worlds whenever he wanted to eat, while exploring the others in short bursts. It wasn't like most worlds actually took money from other worlds, after all ( ... )

"Of course," replied Caro, nodding politely at him. "Are you new here?"

Caro smiled at him, and he seemed nice enough. "Please have a seat."

Zed smiled, taking a seat. "Yeah, I am. Just got here today. It definitely seems like a nice place. How often do you get tourists here?"

"There's a steady stream of them, people coming in from different places," admitted Caro. "Our restaurant is the best in the town, so we get a lot of people from everywhere."

"Are you from one of the neighboring towns?"

Wickebine settles at the table shortly after Caro does, her own uniform dress clinging a little more snugly to her frame than she really would've liked. It's something she figures she'll have to have fixed later, maybe when she has a couple days between shifts so she can make the alterations herself.

In either case, she's considerate enough to bring a pair of iced teas with her and offers one to her co-worker with a pleased smile, "Hey, you're the new girl, right?"

"Ah, that's right! Thank you for this!" She's smiling at Wickebine, nodding at her. "I'm Caro, nice to meet you."

She nods a little, leaning back into the booth a little to stretch, "Ah that's right. It's been really busy lately and they haven't gotten our new name tags printed up yet."

The brunette takes a moment to sip from her iced tea before speaking up again, "I'm Wickebine by the by. How do you like working here so far?"

"I'm having a lot of fun," admitted Caro, grinning at Wickebine. "There's a lot of stuff that I find interesting. Is the work progressively harder every day or no?"
