Old Event--The Yoshiwara Quarter

Aug 02, 2011 19:27

Akiko fiddled with the sleeve of her kimono, watching people walking along the street. It was early yet--the madame had not even set the lights on for the evening--so there weren't too many wandering around. An occasional artisan who had scraped together enough coins for some pleasure, or a blushing young official who had scraped together enough ( Read more... )

The first bidder would also be the last, offering far greater than his competitors. This young man entered her quarters, visibly weary from battle. He appeared to be a foreigner of some sort, as his red helmet was definitely not of Japanese design. Such empty, white eyes radiated against the dancing shadows of the room.

"I can't say the last couple of weeks have been a walk in the park, vagrant."

His voice was both condescending and commanding, but he barely meant any harm if he paid as much to get here.

"Maybe you can rectify that."

Akiko knelt next to a low table, already set with tea, the best the brothel had to offer, since he was such a high-paying customer. She did her best to hide her curiosity at the sight of the strange attire and the accent. Definitely a foreigner.

But, foreigner or not, he had put money down for service, and she was there to serve.

Her hand slipped out from her wide kimono sleeve, gesturing gracefully towards the table and the seat next to her.

"Would you care for some tea?"

"I wouldn't."

Regardless of his refusal, he took a seat by his night's companion. He slouched, still tired from what was presumably a lot of fighting and destruction. There were no visible injuries; this man clearly departed with a victory. Without delivering eye contact, he still appeared very direct.

"You know what you're paid for. The hospitality can wait."

A little frown puckered between Akiko's eyebrows briefly, although it was more from concern. The man looked too tired to even think about that sort of thing, much less actually do it.

Still, he was right. If he wanted it without the formality, well, she could do that too.

Giving a little nod, she reaches behind her, pulling a piece of cloth that allowed for easy removal of her obi. It slipped off, the kimono immediately sliding down her shoulders, and she helped it the rest of the way, revealing rather bountiful breasts.

"How would you prefer it?"

Battler was walking-- well more like being shoved and pushed by a group of friends-- along the red light district. He didn't want to be here. Well he did occasionally come by since he was a major pervert, but he never attempted anything. He didn't believe in "buying" women like this, and the idea of it generally repulsed him. Normally this would've been okay, but today just so happened to be his 18th birthday. And his friends decided to give him a little present since he was the only one out of them who had obviously not gotten laid yet (Likely because the only techniques he generally had for getting women was being extremely perverted.). They had gathered up enough money to give him a good hour or two alone with one of the women here.

"Oi oi oi, aren't you a man now?"

"Yeah, what the hell are you acting nervous for? Are you trying to insult all the time we spent saving that money for you, bastard!?"

"If you don't pick a girl in exactly 0.00001 seconds I'll use the money for myself asshole!"And then one of them shoves him towards ( ... )

Akiko's attention had been caught some time before by the raucous group of men...no, boys really. It seemed like they were forcing one of their friends to buy a woman. Typical boys. Just because he probably was a virgin, they were going to embarrass the hell out of him.

Still, money was money, and she had debts to pay. When the young man approached, she shifted subtly so her kimono slipped open just enough to reveal a bit of cleavage. She smiled at him, almost shyly.

((ooc: Considering she's slept with 15 year old boys before? It's fine~. And you did it right, no worries~))

When his eyes first met Akiko, she immediately stood out to him. Partly because she was well endowed which was actually the kind of women he usually preferred. He looks at her for a moment, maybe two before finally making his decision.

"Ahhh, think I'm gonna pick that one." He said, trying to sound casual as if the whole thing wasn't that big of a deal. Of course him finally picking earned some rough elbow bumps and hair ruffles from his friends.

"Oooh, into older women huh? Not bad at all, you bastard!"

But despite all of that, later when they're finally alone in a room together, he's going to close the door and let out a heavy sigh. "Haaah. That was a pretty bad situation out there, eh?" He said, stretching out a bit. Now that he was away from their sight he could relax. "Anyway. I know I paid for it-- but I'm not gonna have sex with you." And then there's a small pause. "Well, not fully anyway. It'd be kinda an insult if I didn't do something right?"

[Yeeeah, I know XD. But muns have their own pet peeves so just makin' sure. o

Akiko knelt on a cushion in the middle of the room, giving him an understanding little smile.

"You may do whatever you wish, of course," she murmurs, tilting her head a bit as she watched him. "You decide what is worth your money. Or, should I say, your friends' money."

There was also a wandering traveler who fancied himself a warrior walking through town, unaware of the nature of the area of town he had ventured into. The smell of meat had attracted him to the nearby steakhouse, but now that he'd had his fill he was trying to find his way back to where he'd left his friends. How hard was it to find a big flying bison?

As he turned to get a look at the buildings, that's when he saw her in the window. Sokka's jaw dropped, his body turning to walk him over toward said window. Wooden bars made a horrible prison cell, so what were they there for? "Hi, sorry, I was just passing by and... I saw you, as I was passing by, yes... and here I am, talking to you." Flustered Sokka, poor thing.

Woo, Sokka~! ms_nosy_teach August 3 2011, 01:25:45 UTC
The boy was definitely out of place. And definitely not the sort she was accustomed to walking right up to the bars.

But he clearly felt uncertain, and she shifted closer to the bars, smiling softly at him.

"You are. Was there something you wanted, sir?" She reached up, touching a wooden bar lightly, as though she would have been touching him if these damn bars weren't in the way.

There were an awful lot of red lights on the businesses in town. Maybe it was to keep the bugs away, or a seasonal decoration. He'd probably figure it out eventually, just give him some time. Sokka reached up to wrap his fingers around the bars. They looked well made, but again, made of wood.

He cleared his throat, trying to put on a suave front which failed miserably when he started to speak.. "Yes, I was thinking, if you aren't busy of course, maybe we could do an activity.. together."

Oh, Sokka. At least he wasn't stupid enough to try and reach in and touch her. That would have brought the bouncers out in a flash and the would-be warrior would be evicted from the district quickly.

"I am not busy," she said, watching him with clear interest. "An...activity would be lovely. You'll just need to speak to Madame Junko inside first."
