"That's easy for you to say, you've never had to lift a broom in your life," she chided, still scowling at him, not about to be taken in by any manner of undress he might have been in. "And that's not the point. There shouldn't be a mess like this in the first place!"

"No, I was busy honing my body and mind into a well oiled killing machine so that I could survive the world I had been thrust into."
He sighed slightly, turning a page and leaning back in the chair he sat in. He had more important things to worry about rather than remaining tidy. He had people for that.
"You know what I do for a living, Akiko. You said you could look past that. And I appreciate that. However, I wish you wouldn't look so far past that, you forget the amount of stress I'm under."
He practically threw the pile of paper onto the table in front of him, looking more frustrated than he had in a long time. "Jin has openly declared war on the world, and I lead the only army large enough to oppose him. Let me assure you, without me keeping him at bay, a dirty bedroom would be the least of your worries."
