Break-Up Sex -- Room 80,178//Aphro like crazy 'cause she's mad.

That was it. It was the final straw. Aoshika Akiko did not have to put up with this nonsense if she didn't want to.

Walking into their bedroom was the nail in their relationship coffin. Sure, he had just left a few beer cans around in the living room, and a couple of dishes in the sink, but this. The bedroom looked as though it had been hit ( Read more... )

If he was trying to placate her, well, he was failing miserable. Akiko folded her arms over her chest, glaring at him.

"Go ahead and try to explain what the hell happened in the bedroom, Akira."

Akiko wasn't impressed.

"So you would have tried to hide it from me," she snapped, "I should have known this would happen. You're still so young. If you want to have your parties, you're gonna have to do it in your own place."

Preston had nearly jumped out of the couch at the sound of the angry voice. Shooting up quickly like a bean stalk he frantically began to look around the room in alarm. "Wh-what? What's going on!?"

If it wasn't for her words the soldier would have reached for his gun. But his mind wasn't that sleepy.

"You know what's going on!" Akiko almost growled, the sight of him sleeping so relaxed before she woke him while she was all worked up only serving to piss her off more. Stooping, she picked up one of the dirty socks left on the floor and flung it at his face. "That's what's going on!"

He blinked and yawned away the sleep that still plagued him. "...My laundry pile?" Why exactly was she touching his filthy sock? Normally even he wouldn't dare touch one until he started to clean his clothes. And after he directly touched them he would generally go wash his hands. They were that bad, which should be expected considering what his occupation is.

And when she threw the offending piece of clothing at him Preston great care to try and avoid the still sweat, damp sock from hitting him. "Hey c'mon calm down."

"Don't tell me to calm down!" she snapped, this time finding a PT shirt (also still damp) and throwing it at him, "Tell me what the hell happened in the bedroom and why I should bother letting you stay here and turn it into a bigger mess."

Cid blinks sleepily and stretches slowly, sitting up even slower. A few scratches to his lower back are given as the pilot tries to focus his sleep-ridden eyes. She actually had to backtrack to find him and see that he had been sleeping under a pile of clothes. There was a sock on his shoulder, and a pair of her panties resting on top of his head instead of his goggles.

"Th' fuck're you babblin about?"

...you just killed me with that mental image. XD ms_nosy_teach July 22 2011, 00:45:07 UTC
Akiko stormed to the bedside, grabbing her panties and waving them in front of his sleep addled eyes.

So damn lazy he couldn't even take the clothes off the bed first!

"I'm not babbling, Cid Highwind! I just told you we're through. Done. You're moving out today."

Lol, excellent! cids_cigs July 22 2011, 00:56:14 UTC
Cid blinks and jumps back slightly, surprised and showing it. "Th' fuck for!?" He exclaims, plucking the sock off of him and pushing the clothes off of the bed to reveal that he was just in his boxers and nothing else.

Akiko scowled when he pushed the clothing onto the already messy floor.

"Because you've made the place a complete mess! It was fine when I left this morning, and now...I'm tired of it, Cid, and I'm not gonna put up with it anymore."

"What?" Rodney looked up over the top of his laptop. "N-n-n-n-no. What do you mean we're done? I didn't do anything! Well, that's not true, I just solved global warming, but that's beside the point!"

"Oh, sure, you can save the world, but you can't pick up your own dirty underwear!" Akiko snapped at him, hands on her hips as she glared daggers.

"I said I'd get to it!" In his defense, he had said that, but failed to say when. And it was probably a week ago. Rodney tapped a few more equations into his laptop and finally stopped long enough to pay attention. "Wait, is this really about my underwear?"

Akiko scowled at the laptop. Too important to even pay attention to her when she was clearly upset about something.

And that question did not deserve an answer. At least, not a straight out one, if he couldn't figure it out for himself.

"Have you seen the bedroom? What did you do in there?"

Kazuya barely glanced up from the veritable book of reports he was going over. Even shirtless, he seemed to be consumed by his work as of late. He was annoyed, but she'd had outbursts like this a couple times before, and he was confident that he could just throw some money at the problem and have it cleared.

"If you would let my maid in your house on a weekly basis, you wouldn't have to worry about that, now would you?"

Akiko snorted, shaking her head.

"That's easy for you to say, you've never had to lift a broom in your life," she chided, still scowling at him, not about to be taken in by any manner of undress he might have been in. "And that's not the point. There shouldn't be a mess like this in the first place!"

Kazuya kept his icy demeanor, returning his gaze to the papers in front of him.

"No, I was busy honing my body and mind into a well oiled killing machine so that I could survive the world I had been thrust into."

He sighed slightly, turning a page and leaning back in the chair he sat in. He had more important things to worry about rather than remaining tidy. He had people for that.

"You know what I do for a living, Akiko. You said you could look past that. And I appreciate that. However, I wish you wouldn't look so far past that, you forget the amount of stress I'm under."

He practically threw the pile of paper onto the table in front of him, looking more frustrated than he had in a long time. "Jin has openly declared war on the world, and I lead the only army large enough to oppose him. Let me assure you, without me keeping him at bay, a dirty bedroom would be the least of your worries."

Akiko folded her arms over her chest, the distance between the worlds they had been born into only seeming wider than ever. She chewed her lower lip, anxiety replacing the anger. It didn't matter how powerful Kazuya was, or how many men he commanded. War was still war, and Kazuya wasn't invincible.

"Does that mean...you'll be leaving soon?"
