Krad sighed as he chewed on a carrot stick, partially dipped in whipped cream. He was grumbling at himself as he'd gotten pregnant again by another wolf, and staying in his room just wasn't helping matters. Seeing that he was hungry, he cautiously made his way to the kitchen without being spotted

"Well this is a fine mess you've gotten yourself into, Krad. Was the first batch not enough?" The lord of hell ask conversationally as he simply appeared leaning against the counter and stealing a carrot stick to munch on. His smirk was more than self satisfied, in fact it was down right demonic.

Lucifer was content to let themselves work out their issues, it gave him time to think and it drove them to distraction, but he was not a creature of infinite patience when dealing with bickering children.

"This time its my turn. I won't let you make a contract with him again......we don't even need to make a damn contract. I can dull the pain when the time comes."

"Unless this place takes your magic, then we're really fucked." There was an eye roll, grabbing for another carrot and chewing on it.

"If you two don't quite I'll find out which of you is more flammable," he muttered under his breath, waiting for them to knock it off.

Dark mumbled something under his breath before turning back to Lucifer.

"Fine. New proposition. My magic for a painless birth for Krad and forget about the pup from the previous litter."

Krad twitched...he didn't want to find out who was more flammable...

"Mousy, I can take care of myself."

He sighed, "Mortals. they never did learn to barter."

For a moment he was abotu to simply rebuke the boy outright but then a thought struck him and he produced the original document that he and Krad had signed, setting it on the table.

"Dark Mousy. You will surrender your magic immediately and in exchange I shall give Krad a painless birth and void payment of his contract immediately. Is this correct?"

Dark looked at the document that had been produced despite Krad's arguments. With everything Krad had gotten into since he'd been here he doubted he could truly take care of himself.

"Deal."

Again it was a heavy price to pay, but he'd gotten around without using magic before being as he couldn't really use it without it affecting Daisuke.

"Let him keep enough to at least call upon his wings." Even the hotel was kind enough to give him enough magic to do that.

Just to be theatrical he produced another ancient looking scroll in a gout of flame, unrolling it slowly and ignoring Krad's request. one customer at a time.

He read slowly and deliberately, "Dark Mousy, will surrender unto Lucifer the Morning star all magic bound unto Dark's soul immediately and totally. In exchange Lucifer shall give Krad a painless birth and void payment of Krad's most recent contract immediately. This contract is signed and bound totally in blood and spirit that no party may beak it."

He turned the contract then to allow dark to read it, producing a single feather of his own from somewhere and holding dark's out to him. "Sign in blood with your own feather and I shall do the same. That will seal our contract."

Dark took the document and considered what Krad had said. He didn't know it Lucifer would do it, but he would like to keep his wings.

"Would it be possible to keep my wings?" Either way he'd be willing to give them up and was actually surprised that Krad cared about them.

Krad's wings were his pride and joy...the last thing he needed Dark to lose were those...

"Very well." he snapped his fingers and the contract disappeared only for a new one to appear in his hand.

"Dark Mousy, will surrender unto Lucifer the Morning star all magic bound unto Dark's soul immediately and totally with the exception of Dark's wings. In exchange Lucifer shall give Krad a painless birth and void payment of Krad's most recent contract immediately. This contract is signed and bound totally in blood and spirit that no party may beak it."

He held the contract out to the other to sign.

Dark took the new contract and pulled a feather from his wings. The small amount of blood on the end of the quill was enough for him to sign the contract in his blood before handing it back to Lucifer.

"Done."

Krad twitched, clearly not happy over this whole ordeal. He was half tempted to throttle Dark again, especially because he refused to ask for that kind of help.
