Krad sighed as he chewed on a carrot stick, partially dipped in whipped cream. He was grumbling at himself as he'd gotten pregnant again by another wolf, and staying in his room just wasn't helping matters. Seeing that he was hungry, he cautiously made his way to the kitchen without being spotted

"Well this is a fine mess you've gotten yourself into, Krad. Was the first batch not enough?" The lord of hell ask conversationally as he simply appeared leaning against the counter and stealing a carrot stick to munch on. His smirk was more than self satisfied, in fact it was down right demonic.

Lucifer didn't even give the other the satisfaction of watching him bleed, "In that case, I suggest you act like you've somethign of value to me and not like you want to have your wings ripped off so i can enjoy beating you to death with them."

He really did hate being interrupted.

"My soul and you negate any contract you've made with Krad. The pups stay with him and he has a painless birth."

Dark stood firm between the two despite the fact that Krad didn't want him to interfere.

"No, Mousy. This isn't your problem!"

Lucifer had a great poker face, that much he coudl say with certainty, because he knew he wasn't cackling like a madman as soon as dark finished speaking.

"Your soul for me to negate any contract that I've personally made with Krad and to ensure he has a second painless birth?"

"Also you won't bother him or attempt any contracts in the future. He and his pups are off limits got it?"

Dark knew it was a large price to pay for such small requests, but he was doing it for both Krad and the pups.

Dark thought about it for a bit and added one last thing.

"Negate any contract he may have made. Give him a true life, no more of this cursed life we've lived for four hundred years."

"Damn it, Mousy! Listen to me!" He was not a happy mother...not one bit.

Lucifer gave him a rather dull look, truly wondering if the other was stupid or simply a good actor. "In that case. No. By laws well beyond your understanding I have no power over contract I have not made. And I don't feel like letting the pair of you out of your little curse."

His voice lowered then, filled with the burning anger that the fallen angel often kept in check, "Human nature is built upon suffering. Once you learn to break the cycle on your own then you will be released. Its not my problem. If you're done being a greedy little child, I have actual business to attend to."

Dark just gave him a flat look.

"Really being who you are I thought you'd have more power than that."

He still refused to move from between the two.

"Fine, Krad is off limits, your contracts are void and the pups are off limits. Krad will also have a painless birth."

Krad hated being ignored, and hauled off and was more than happy to give him a right hook. "You idiot!"

Lucifer watched them, waiting until he had their attention, "Gentlemen."

Dark wasn't exactly expecting that right hook and it snapped his head to the side.

"Damnit Krad! I'm not going to let you do this."

Krad panted just a bit, not entirely happy he'd moved that fast. "I'm not going to let you do this either!"

Not one to normally take up his minor vices, he pulled out a cigarette and started smoking. He didn't need to lite it, he coudl make his own fire.

"Gentlemen."

"Krad you're an idiot, why would you even think of doing something like that when you have pups to worry about. Why would you even sacrifice one?"

Yes Lucifer was being ignored as the two birds bickered.
