Intro || In The Shower || Rising Aphro

The heat of the water had fogged the small bathroom, air heavy with the scent of blackberry and apple. Venus inhaled the scent deeply as she closed her eyes and tilted her head back under the shower's spray to soak her hair, fingers easily dragging through the thick red mane. A content sigh left her. It was perfect. This was just what she needed ( Read more... )

Macha hated this place, pretty much more than she'd hated anything in at least a few centuries. Maybe a few dozen. It had taken her weapons, and her people weren't to be found aside from the odd one. And more to the point, one could not guard ones sister from another world.

But she was stuck, as far as she could tell, and no amount of magic was fixing it. She kept to herself, as best as possible... but it always wasn't. And curiosity is a vice. One that was peeking it's head up more and more the longer she lingered.

It would be a lie to say that the feeling of another Sidhe to be found didn't lead her toward the door, or quietly inside. Wary, but still not overly cautious she approached the shower. 'Hello?'

((Alright she hates me, but behold, another sidhe! :D Red heads ftw?))

Venus was aware of the other long before she even entered the room. The familiarity of Sidhe blood, Sidhe magic had her shivering despite the heat of the water. She hadn't been around her own kind for nearly a hundred years - or maybe longer; time tended to escape her, despite her best efforts to keep track.

She slowly shifted the curtain aside. "Hello..."

[OOC: Definitely ftw~ Most of my muses hate me. xD]

'You shouldn't leave the doors unguarded.' No, this one wasn't someone she knew, but she had sensed that well before. It didn't make her less of a sidhe, though, and it ultimately meant Macha loathed her being so at ease in such a place. Perhaps she was new, or very very stupid, though Macha didn't like to think the latter overmuch.

That being said, the girl was still attractive, and Macha, Danu help her, couldn't help but notice. This place would do her in far more quickly than Faery ever had. 'I am Macha, of the Morrigan.' she added the latter, mostly because she was beginning to realise the woman may not have been to Faery at all if she didn't recognise her. Which was odd, but not impossible. Though the many worlds issue could also be at play.

She blinked some at the word of caution. It indeed wasn't that Venus was stupid; she was simply confident in her own abilities, in being able to take care of herself. She'd done so for so long. It would have been easy to view the warning as condescending but after a moment, she smiled and nodded in acknowledgment. "I'll keep that in mind. It's a pleasure, Macha, of the Morrigan." A short pause, and she held out her hand. "I am Venus."
