Mmmh. It's kinda a pet peeve of mine since how science works is so misunderstood by the general public. Movies, especially sci-fi, have played a large role in enforcing this ignorance. But managing to catch up with TF-level technology to put humanity on the playing field of the Decepticons? Not happening unless the Autobots helped enormously and yet somehow did not think that it maaaay be a bad idea.

I watched DOTM once. Remind me again, what does Carly/whatever the name is of Sam new's girlfriend do aside from spend most of the plot kidnapped? Does she do anything at all...? Wait. She randomly taunted Megatron into helping OP. It was kinda a out-of-nowhere moment and not in character for her, I remember thinking at the time, since all she'd done up to that point was be a damsel in distress. If anything, it was something more in character for Mikeala than Princess Peach Carly ( ... )

I think for most technic nowadays is already not really understood by most, so they can't see the difference between a google glass and what La Forge in Star Treck uses.

Well, there was this scene where she looked good, and there was the one where she looked even better... -_- And the Megatron-Carly scene was up there with the worst scenes over all. If executed right it would've been good, but instead it felt as if Megatron had simply dropped his IQ, just so humanity has a chance to besaved.

No, I didn't know that. Now I'm seriously underwhelmed. I'm already less than amused with Bee's continued silence.
True, the background giant-alien war that somehow isn't as important as Carly in that white dress over there!

It's my only remaining hope that they're Quintessons. At least then I would watch the movie... but if they're killed by bacteria, because they're organic I'll seriously walk out of the cinema.
