ooh, yeah, that's right, I'm commenting again -- I was reading a book today, about sexual symbolism in Roman art, and there were these wind chimes from Pompeii, shaped like a sort of dog/penis chimera with wings. But something about the shape or pose of it reminded me of the Lepic's cucumber mascot. Needless to say, I thoroughly embarrased myself by lauging. :P I shall try to find a picture.

Hmm, two years ago, I visited the museum of Napoli. They also had well.. special section. Mostly contained frescos and statues found in Pompei. Must say, it really changed my image of the oldy Romans.
