Adventures in babysitting (a writer's procrastination habit)

I cannot discount the value of procrastinating, because I'm positive it will help pump my most creative juices ever. don't give up on dennis!

the race is far from over.  don't fall prey to what the media wants you to believe.  why settle for a lesser of two evils candidate? i mean, if you are correct and kucinich doesn't have a chance to win then there is plenty of opportunity to support that lesser of two evils candidate after the democratic nomination.

but i firmly believe that he has a chance! with continued and growing support, he can make a real difference.

Hey! Cool news about those decisive decisions of yours - I hope the weather in Chicago was better than what I had! Damned Sears tower was obscured in mist! :(

And that was a great news story about the Trekkie event.

You never know - gala opening night - you could go, mingle, and find the gorgeous Alice Krige wandering around! :)

Thanks! I'm glad that somebody actually read that Borg story.

And now that you're aware of my upcoming stay in Chicago (with Brandon, of course), you're coming too, aren't you?

Coolness! I'm sure Kristine will be thrilled to see you again as well!

If you really want to go to the Convention, you should look seriously into serving as one of Nevada's 32 Delegates or 4 Alternates. With your level of enthusiasm, I have to imagine that you are going to be one of the important people in your precinct caucus, and honestly most people have no desire to go to the convention so you have a shot. :)
If not, definately contact the local Nevada Dems for ideas on ways to get into the convention as a guest with them, don't waste time going through the national red tape and playing phone tag.

Thanks for the link! Actually, I did call the Democratic party's local office soon after typing this post, and they were able to give me the run-down on the delegate process. I fully intend on being at Chaparral High School on Valentine's Day, and going through the rest of the process.

But thanks so much for the info. And it's always good to hear from you too.
