When did you become and SG1 fan?: I began watching the show long ago by catching reruns on the SciFi channel, but it wasn't until recently I decided to catch up on the show consecutively. And thus, a fangirl was born. What originally made you fall in love with the show?: The story in itself is intriguing, that there's a means of traveling to various planets throughout the universe and Earth just happens to have two of these. I also love a character-driven show that is balanced out with strong plot lines and good writing, and SG1 has all of that. Who is/are your favorite character(s) and why?: Honestly, I cannot pick between Jack, Sam, Daniel, or Teal'c. The first time they stepped through the Stargate together as a team, I loved them as a team. Each character is so individual, which is why I believe them to make such a great team to begin with; they each contribute their own. However, that being said, I do find myself being quite the Jack/Sam shipper because I'm a sucker for angsty couples

When did you become and SG1 fan?: Earlier this year What originally made you fall in love with the show?: no idea, but I've always been fascinated with time/space travel and other galaxies Who is/are your favorite character(s) and why?: Daniel, Jack, Teal'c...Teal'c is just amazing, why do I need to give details on this?! :D And Daniel satisfies my inner geek and Jack is the smartass and it all just fits together so perfectly. Do you have a favorite episode? If so, explain what you like about it: The Avalon episodes... my inner King Arthur geek almost died :D What is your favorite element of the show (i.e. the characters, the plot, a ship, etc.)?: just the whole concept of the space travel. I think if we're not careful, we're going to have to be exploring this option sooner rather than later, and I don't think we're ready for it. I COMPLETELY concur on what you said about Jack. I love him to death. Even if it's the most depressing, dark episode of SG1 (although does it ever REALLY get that bad? lol), he cracks a funny. Gotta love that guy. We also have BSG as a common fandom. If you can put up with my capslock, profanities, and occassional insanity, mind if I friend you?
When did you become and SG1 fan?: Dude, its beens so long I cant even remember for sure. Sometime when I was in undergrad. I would watch the reruns on the SciFi channel and I was just hooked. What originally made you fall in love with the show?: Its just so much fun to watch. Its got the scifi and the action and the occasional flare of humor, great story lines. Who is/are your favorite character(s) and why?: Sam, cause she's a scientist, and I'm a scientist (except I'm a biologist and not an astrophysicist). She shows you can be smart and sexy. Do you have a favorite episode? If so, explain what you like about it: Window of Opportunity is the only one I can think of off the top of my head. *hugs* Yeah, I know. I'm not on-line nearly as much as I used to be, what with RL busyness and stress. :-( And it seems lately most of the people I used to chat with are rarely on-line at the same times that I am.
The only time I'm usually on MSN anymore is LATE in the evenings into early mornings. Of course, that'll change when classes start up again at the end of August.
I always tend to forget you're into SG1 too, I'm not sure why. In my opinion, nothing will ever live up to BSG, but SG1 comes pretty damn close. :D
