I'm glad to see her hair darker. I was afraid they'd leave it blonde, and IDK why, but that would bother me, lol.

The first pic up there made me really excited.

I agree! I really like the dark hair, and that small change has made me happier with her lol

They are definitely new and thanks so much for posting them! As I said to shmyshmy, the mods admittedly have been neglecting to post stuff on time just because we are so not used to this influx of news (yay news and progress!), but luckily our members have been great with posting news :)

idk if you know the movie/book "I am number 4", but I don't want that to happen with the Host... The #4 book was so amazing, I loved every page of it, but the movie was horrible :S and I know that the movies are never as good as the books, but it was an outrageously bad movie :S

I've not read the book, but I saw the movie. I know Eragon fans were so upset by the movie adaptation too. Hopefully SM's involvement means good things.

What? Since when? I've read the book multiple times and I have never gotten that impression. At most she has tan skin, and you can make of that what you will, but that can go many ways...

She's from New Mexico. She has tanned skin, black/dark hair and dark, almond-shaped eyes.

Well, I suppose there could be a possibility of her being Mexican, Latina, Native American, or whatever else fits those characteristics, but it never came across to me that way. Who knows.
