Yep, I have a cold. Didn't get much sleep the last couple of nights owing to congestion and am currently feeling like crap, but I am at work and coping. If anyone so much as mentions "man-flu", however, I will breathe on them.

TBH that remark was mostly aimed at the secretaries here. Happily they won't be reading it, and in any case the one who uses the phrase most freely retired at Christmas so I think I'm safe.

So you learn the terrible secret: being fit doesn't keep a person from getting ill. Sucks, don't it?
Get well soon. *cup of tea*

Don't go pushing yourself while you've got a cold, though - there'll be plenty of time for that when you're feeling better *hugs*

I don't like the term 'man-flu' either. Mind you, what's equally irritating is being told 'My friend's got flu like you have' when you've got a cold where you're feeling like crap, but fit enough to go to work/evening class/shopping.

Regarding cardiovascular activity, digging is a very good one too, and long walks.
