1. Doctor finally put me on antibiotics a couple of days ago, which cleared the stomach flu right up, so I was finally able to break house arrest today and go watch X-Men: First Class in the cinemas. The fact that I haven't seen First Class yet is KILLING ME. UGHHHH MUTANT BOYFRIENDS. I might get the chance on Tuesday night though, fingers crossed!!

Also, I am jealous of your mad make-up skills. You always look amazing!

Your make-up posts always intrigue me. I don't spend much on make-up myself, but I love reading about other people's experiments with it.

The plum is really pretty. I always think the purple shades are very flattering to dark eyes.

It's sad how every time an Asian guy is not cast as comedic sidekick, kung fu guy, or nerd, it's like a mini-celebration. I mean, hell, I was SHOCKED that Han got the girl at the end of Fast Five.

I confess I wasn't very helpful during the viewing - when he lifted the sub, I asked quietly "congratulations, you have caught a sub - now what are you going to do with it?"

(didn't occur to me until later that he might have tried crumpling it like scrap paper)

I think the whole point of raising the sub was so that they could get inside the sub and catch Shaw.
