At this point, I'd rather be watching the Gabriel and Kali show, with guest appearances by Lucifer, than the Sam and Dean show.
Also, I've been wondering for AGES why Castiel wouldn't just give Sam and Dean his angel killing sword as I figured Lucifer would be susceptible to it. Though perhaps it's assumed we all know only Michael can get the upper hand on Lucifer?
I do really like the implication that Gabriel has been so fed up with his family that he assumed Loki's identity oh so long ago, rather than just impersonating him in modern times.

ME TOO. Hopefully there'll be stories with Loki/Kali backstory before long. Looks like he really had a soft spot for her. And not just her, but all the unruly, bickering pagan gods in general. I think he's preferred them to his holier-than-thou angel kin for a long time.
I'm glad that Kali survived and all, but I hated how she went from the leader of the God Squad to being one of the show's typical damsels in distress. I really hope we see her again because otherwise, I think I'd have preferred that she died.
I agree that Kali probably was not happy about having to leave. not simply because of her past involvement with Loki\Gabriel, but because...She Is Kali. retreat isn't in her vocabulary.
I'm kinda surprised she didn't try to eat Lucifer {without spilling a drop of blood}. maybe if Sam and Dean hadn't hauled her out of there.
She didn't put up any kind of resistance when Sam and Dean pulled her out of here, is all I'm saying. By that stage, she looked pretty defeated. (I guess it's not an episode of Supernatural unless the brothers get to save somebody, even if it is one of the most powerful gods of the Hindu pantheon.)
I don't think Lucifer meant all women are whores - look what he says to Mercury, that the gods are not just lower than humans, but lower than demons. (and we know how he handles them)
Okay, gotcha and I really don't. Only episode I saw before last night was the episode Tricia Helfer did a few years ago which had nothing to do with the overall mythology of the show.
Lucifer sees demons as disposable tools, not deserving of leniency, congratulations for a job well done; and thinks nothing of killing three dozen demons at once if he wants something.

Given the track record I figured Lucifer was implying all women are whores. I like your idea better.
I don't think Kali is supposed to be pronounced like "Cally", guys. At least Rekha looked really pretty?
