It doesn't make sense, from a narrative standpoint, or a common sense standpoint.

Well, it makes perfect sense if you place it within the whole plot arc of the show, which is completely ad hoc and NONSENSICAL.BAHH.

Forgot to mention this; you CALL everything in some form or another. I think you deserve some rights to Heroes stock.

I am not in a mood to be fair. There are precious few characters I still like at this point (Elle, Angela...and that's about it), and killing my favourite character to bring in another Bad Petrelli just riles me.

I agree with you about Rose.

The other thing that's making me irrationally angry is that I called Arthur Petrelli coming back, like, half a season ago. My theory was that if he had really tried to kill himself, they (the Company) could surely have just taken some blood from their prisoner (Adam) and brought him back like they did Noah.

I feel proprietary about Adam. It's not fair, but I can't help it.

Troofax, I haven't enjoyed an episode of Heroes this whole season. Pieces and parts have been entertaining, but damn. I would not be sad if this is the last season of Heroes evar.

I've made no secret of the fact that, ever since the pilot, I haven't exactly had the deepest of admiration for this show - most of the time, in fact, it's been decidedly mixed. I have, however, always found Kensei/Adam someone whose actions, motivations, humanness-or-lack-thereof I could relate to, and understand, and the show was elevated for me the moment he appeared. I was compelled to write in this fandom, for the first time.

Arthur has been introduced as ruthless and scary, and he got the entrance they wanted. I don't think there's anything he isn't capable of, now. And if the writers wanted me to think that, then bravo, they did their jobs. But as a character I can relate to - see as more than Token Baddie of the Season? Not so much. And he's no substitute for Kensei. Kensei was introduced as the drunk, the selfish mercenary first, living-by-his-wits and eager to experience new horizons, before he became a "villain". Arthur is just plain Evil, as far as I can tell.

Why kill off the one of the only like four actors who don't OVERACT or conceptualize their characters. Please, David Anders GET LOTS AND LOTS more work. I'm sure True Blood is hiring for season 2.

He was always so natural, like he totally got the joke that he was in. Heroes has too many characters taking themselves waaayyy too seriously.

BRING HIM BACK AS A VAMPIRE. That would be awesome.
