I... can't really stand Hayden Christensen, and I don't like Bilson as an actress, but I have to admit that Jumper looks pretty spiffy. Love those special effects, Jamie Bell(!), and Sam Jackson. I sort of wish they'd stuck with the original lead actors, though.

Bana = GLORIOUS. Chris Pine = :/ But I shall have faith! Though I wish they'd stop comparing this movie to what they did for Mission Impossible III or Transformers. That makes me nervous.

I KNOW! JAMIE!! SO TALENTED. I feel no shame in perving because I am the same age as him. (Well, 4 days older, but let's pretend they don't exist.)

I sort of wish they'd stuck with the original lead actors, though.

You mean before they re-envisioned the main character as a older young man? I think Tom Sturridge and Teresa Palmer used to have the roles. I don't really mind Hayden, who I thought was a pretty good actor before George Lucas came along. But I like the devilish, over confident air he seems to be bringing to this.

I haven't seen any of Chris Pine's films (and really don't want to), but apparently he's acted in theatre too. So I'm assuming he's not just a pretty face.

Jesus Christ, I know. Lindsay Lohan and Princess Diaries movies?! That was scary to read.

If they had the EXCELLENT taste to get Yelchin, Saldana, and Bana, I'll roll with em on this one.

Oooh! "Jumper" looks pretty cool - and I'm especially taken with Jamie Bell's character. What happened to sweet little Billy Elliot huh? Hee.

Also "Three Kingdoms" looks wickedly good.

"It's not as easy as it looks."

Oh I know, I was just saying to trailer_spot that you'd never think he was the same actor who played Smike in Nicholas Nickleby. I also like that even when he strays from dark, indie flicks and into the big budget films, he still plays these non-hero types: the cabin boy in King Kong, the ambiguous, almost villainish supporting character in this.

I doubt that they had female generals in the late Han period, but Maggie Q sure looks lovely.

My blisteringly intelligent comment of the day:

It features Andy Lau and Maggie Q.

Yay! Andy Lau is pretty.
