I think it was pretty much universally believed that the Terminator in the pilot is the big weak point in the whole episode. Maybe, since they're reshooting the school scene, they're just replacing him all together? But he had a lot of action and effects sequences, so that would be expensive -- not like replacing the sister in Bionic Woman.
Garrett Dillahunt definitely > Yeoman, but all this cast shuffling that's going on is putting me on edge. I mean, look at Moonlight, which I hear is unsalvagable.
I find moonlight_tv hilarious, with the increasingly brittle flailing every time a negative review is made. There's just no way that's going to be a good show, and my only hope is that it's axed before Sophia Myles is inextricably associated with it.
I'm convinced that the show would be much improved if they just got rid of the St. John character completely and just let us stare at the remainder of the very hot cast.
I love Dillahunt, especially because on Deadwood he pulled off playing both Jack McCall and Wolcott. In fact, he was so freaky as Wolcott that I had a hard time buying that he was a (relatively) normal person in John from Cincinnati.
On JFC it took me a while to get used to the realisation that he was so bloody tall! Like, hugely physically imposing, which, as McCall and even as Wolcott, you tended to forget because of the way Dillahunt carried himself, and all the other physically intimidating actors he was around (McShane, Powers Booth). It made me sit up all over again...rwwwr. :)
