Excerpt from "The Vintner's Luck", the novel by Elizabeth Knox, which is currently being make into a film by Niki Caro (director of Whale Rider and North Country). Jérémie Renier, Gaspard Ulliel, Vera Farmiga, Maria Ruiz, and Keisha Castle-Hughes star in the film.
