I kinda wish Vesper Lynd's Algerian boyfriend would be more... Algerian. Come on, Bond producers, aren't there a ton of actual Algerian actors in France? Easy peasy!

I would also like to say that I especially enjoyed your icon. That movie was cheesy, bad, a travesty etc. (not that I even liked the book, but Lestat/Jessie kind of got me.

Oh the shame.

Mmmm... Those sexy Maghrebi French men. ;D

Lestat/Jessie kind of got me.

I loved the closing shot on them - Kidneythieves' "Before I'm Dead" playing over the time phase, Big Ben in the distance, and Lestat and Jesse walking side by side towards it. Best thing about that ridiculous movie.

Here you go!

Thank you. It was my 21st today. I went and saw Handel's "Alcina", gorged myself on delicious food, and was all awed and touristy at the Sydney Opera House, received presents. :) It was a good day.

Does this mean the next Bond movie will be completely original material or is there a Fleming book that includes such a character? Hmmm...

Happy birthday, you! I hope it's been a lovely day and here's to the next one! You be a good kid now. ;)

Well, in the book Vesper was working for the Russians, and I can't remember if there was an ex-lover involved at all. I'm guessing that he'll probably be a wholly original creation.

I'm always good. :) Thank you. *hugs*
