With a cast featuring Brendan Fraser, Paul Bettany, Helen Mirren, Andy Serkis, Jamie Foreman, Eliza Bennett, Jim Broadbent, Sienna Guillory, Lesley Sharp and Rafi Gavron (Rome), it is based on the first novel in a series by Cornelia Funke.
