I agree. It's absolutely important for women to know what pleases them, and to be able to obtain pleasure even without a partner. I know a lot of women who are completely against masturbation, who claim they've never done it and never will because "I have someone else to do that for me!" It just annoys the fuck out of me, because that's not the point. The point is it should never just be about someone else. That's so limiting and it implies that one needs another person to be a sexual being. That's not how sexuality works.

But that's just my opinion.

Hahaha - I'm the exact opposite! I don't have someone to do that for me, and besides, I'm much better than a partner! (In my opinion.)

There are definitely different kinds of sexuality, and there are things I would much rather have a partner for (I love oral sex, for example), but you're exactly right, we can all be sexual beings on our own, by our own volition and power.
