Awww. Poor Madelyn. It's sort of hard to picture this since Richie is so gay, but it still works in that, 'Duh, he doesn't love her. He just wanted to make sure he was gay' kind of way. That's probably not what you were going for, but that's what I got from it. And reading it like that, it was conceivable. Nice work.

Arrrrg but he's not gay!! At least, not in this fanfiction. What I was going for was the fact that he couldn't keep seeing her because he had to choose between being a hero or a convict, and had to leave her because of it.

I have nooo idea where in this fic it implies that he's gay, though. At all.

Hmm...interesting couple, but...I dunno. Maybe more elaboration on why they work, and try to show others what you see in this couple. *shrugs*

Not speaking for writinnblood's impression on that she thought R was gay in this fic, but it's like---everyone save for two people in the world knows he's gay. Reading it like that, I would think that he just used M for that purpose, too.

BUT---it's nice to know that he can be written in another way. These stories are far few in-between, and the fandom has to be tolerant of that (though I don't personally ship his 'hetero-ness' b/c I firmly believe he's gay)

Your Jimmy story was awesome, btw. I had faved it in ff.net, and it's just awesome to reread again. Great job on that fic.
