I really like that Michael cares both about David and Stacey, and he's not just some jerk ditching his girlfriend who just got raped for his friend. But even though he still cares very much about Stacey, it's obvious that a part of him is starting to value David more.

Convulsive waves of darkness shot through his vision as everything went slightly dimmed, the intense pain in his head searing away all else that he knew.
I must applaud you for all the varying descriptions of pain in this fic. Almost every other scene involves some kind of blinding agony, yet the descriptions are never worn out. Good job.
