Off to New Zealand on Thursday...

So I did disappear for a while (as I usually do) and I'm only posting because I need something from all of you. *smiles sweetly* I made a post similar to this one about this time last year: I'm going to New Zealand for 10 days of a school trip. We leave on Thursday. I need a book. (Music recs would be nice too. :P

Uh... Matthew Reilly's books are always good (and very engrossing), but their action - not sure if that's your thing. Ice Station is awesome, Contest or Temple... I don't know if his other novels are in paperback size yet.

Of course, I could be biased. I adore his books.

I'm not really into reading action and war scenes in books, I tend to gloss over them and wonder why I don't understand later.

But thanks for the recs! I'm reading their amazon pages right now.

Whoo, I agree on that... but I took Ice Station with me on a 3 day holiday and I managed to finish it like the first night :/ it was still damn good...
