Leaving...
I'm leaving for Sydney on Saturday. I've having my 'coming and going' (worst pun ever - am so proud!) party tomorrow night for my 18th birthday (which is on Sunday) and my going to Sydney. Late round offers
I'd completely forgotten about late round university offers until I saw the mail today. I got a late round offer to do arts/laws at Monash University. Originally Victoria only wanted to take me for arts/laws at La Trobe which I expected but still turned me off studying in Melbourne ( Read more... ) -
I forgot to mention uni et al.
Uni-wise I got what I wanted: Arts (Advanced) at University of Sydney. What's different about advanced arts you say? A good question actually. I'm glad you asked. I -think- it's just accelerated and has more advanced subjects later on. It also has a much higher UAI cutoff. Normal arts at USyd was 83.00 whereas artsadv was 98.02. OPs
We got our senior results today. I got an OP 2 which is the second highest rank possible (the system is from 1 - 25, 1 being the highest) so I'm quite pleased. This correlates to roughly a 97.50 in other Australian systems ( Read more... ) -
Going to Sydney
I'm in the QANTAS club at the moment. I'm going to Sydney today for a while but I should be back on the 18th of January.

Schoolies
Well, I'm going to schoolies for a week (or there abouts). So I shall see you all then!
(For those that don't know, schoolies is a drunken celebration after the end of high school. The wikipedia page may explain it better than me.) -
Graduation is tomorrow
So tomorrow is the end. The end of regularly seeing all the people I've come to love and then end of stability and routine in my life (at least for a while ( Read more... ) -
Formal
So yeah, school formal last night. And despite everything imaginable going wrong I still enjoyed myself. (Formal = prom = superfluous, fun dressing up.)

Off to New Zealand on Thursday...
