I'm sure sorry the two of you are going through this.

It does sound as if finding a second part-time job might be the answer for John, while he discusses the finances with the current one.

Bouncing paychecks are scary. You need to know ASAP if the "money" you're being paid is no good, or you accidentally get farther in dept. :(

I hope things start looking up for you two soon. If I ever had a paycheck bounce I would seriously lose my mind.

Hugs...
Is asking for a raise not an option right now? I know that's scary.
It's such a trap because if you earned enough, you could hire a lawyer to fight for Beldar's back-wages plus interest and compensation for all the mental angst.
Hang in there!

Ah yes - training your boss and getting the Do More Work For The Same Pay Award. I've had the joy of both as well. I'm sorry.

On the bright side, Snack has a full-time job in good standing for the first time in years. And if I can hold up my end financially, we should be just fine for the foreseeable future.

To those who might know me or my work IRL, I wish to keep the financial problems from public knowledge, as there are petty people who would love to use this data to tear down and destroy everything we are trying to accomplish -- and the saddest part is that they are part of the very community we serve. So, thanks for the good vibes, but let's keep that topic to this thread. Thanx =)

I've seen proof of some solid money coming in, and am promised full wages by the end of the week. We'll see...
