I think there are two ideas that make up the "Middle Class"
1- The idea that getting a good education, going to college. Getting on to a career path, purchasing a home, raising a family. That's Middle Class attitude.
Then there is the money aspect. People who make enough money to be able to afford the big house, the fancy cars, the many trips here there and every where. That is Middle Class income, and unless you are making 6 figures a year, your not middle class.
I consider myself lower middle class, or upper lower class (probably the latter). I only make in the mid-30s, but I don't have any kids to have to support (of course, I also don't have a spouse or partner with an income either). If there were two of us earning that in this household, we'd definitely be lower middle class.
Speaking of money ... PM me or reply with your email address (which I don't have for some reason anymore) and I'll forward some HPB coupons for this month.
Also, my sister is bringing a friend for Thanksgiving, so if just you two come, there will be 5 of us (if Stephen or someone else has nowhere to go, just ask). You might want to consider getting a bigger bird for us, or two little birds would be fine. Are you doing acorn squash again too? I think two cut in half (four halves) would be PLENTY, considering I'm making mashed potatoes, rolls, cranberry salad, leaf salad (for those of us who can have it - sorry), stuffing, a vegetable (probably snap green beans unless you have a better suggestion), and pumpkin pie.

Just my opinion, your mileage may vary.
