I would love to be there - cookie-making parties are really my favorite holiday thing - but we have other commitments that day already. :(

I'd like to have one in January, maybe. Cookies & whiskey for Burns' Night or somesuch...

Sounds great! If you can make it near the end of January I can make my gingerbread footballs and other treats for the Super Bowl party.

We could bring down some games and possibly sleep over.

I'm all for it as long as it's whiskey (Bourbon) and not whisky (Scotch) tho Snack likes Scotch so it may be best to bring both. =)

I didn't realize you were having a cookie party. I have actually never heard of such a thing but it sounds fun!

I can bring stuff to make Fruity Oaty Bars! They're not quite cookies but I tried the recipe last weekend for a sci-fi club party. They were delicious and full of subliminal messages. (I'm still trying to figure out a good way to combine the words "subliminal" and "delicious")

Yeah, I thought about having it a few weeks ago because I wanted to do some baking and it's always more fun to do so with others. Plus, this gives up a larger variety of cookies and hopefully, some new recipes.

I thought about that one but it sounds like the cookie might sublimate. And that doesn't sound like a pleasant experience. Unless... I need to get some dry ice!

Barring bad weather, I'll probably come over for a while at least. I need to finish up some last-minute shopping, and you have better stores near you than I do here. (That's not to say that's the reason I'd come over - that's just being practical because I live 40 miles away!) If I hear the weather is supposed to be worse Sunday than Saturday, I may leave the state early, in which case I'll let you know.

Vicky left me a sugar cookie recipe on my LJ in a call for recipes, if you want to go look. I'm going to try to remember to print it out and bring it along maybe. (Also, anything chocolate is acceptable. Or anything that has the phrase "Toll House" in front of it.)

ETA: Oh, and I have "Mamma Mia" on DVD, if I come Saturday I can bring that to play ...

I would like to come, but I had already semi-committed to helping two friends whose LJ names escape me (the ones who threw the Broad Ripple birthday party a few months ago) move. They have me scheduled from 10am to 1pm, which seems improbable ... how can you do any meaningful moving from the far westside to Castleton in three hours? I'm expecting that to go over.

If it fits into that schedule, I'm there.
