I went up to Portland yesterday to play in the PTQ, against my better judgment. It went better than I thought. #703: Worldwake Prerelease!
So, today was the Worldwake Pre-Release. A group of us went over to Matt's Cavalcade and Comics and we participated in the festivities.
There were something like 45 people at the tournament and we went six rounds of Sealed without playoff, thankfully. I went 6-0 with a White/Black aggro with a small Vampire motif and won 30 packs.

Which is sad, considering most of the month is already over. Classes are going okay. ECE391 is looking fun. 464 is like every Signals and Systems class I've ever taken rolled into one. ART101's prof is pretty cool. CS372's lecture is kind of boring, but I think it partially the material's fault. Also, Prof. Paulson doesn't really speak loud enough ( Read more... ) -
