Thanks to the return of Doctor Who (and the end of Torchwood), I've neglected to post the latest movie news. Shame on me!

Filming is now well underway. However, there is some bad news. A character named Rebecca has taken the place of Debbie Hemlock as Darren's love interest.

Unfortunately, I tend to be an irritating little book purist unless it's a particularly good movie. I'll just keep my fingers crossed.

Likewise, actually. Which is why I hate the Harry Potter movies, and remain extremely skeptical when it comes to LOTR.

But, in fairness, I would prefer to have her removed completely than misrepresented and massacred.

I think she should play Debbie if they decide to put her in...do you agree or disagree?

Actually they haven't taken her out yet.
She's just not in the first movie.
If the movie does well they'll think about putting her in.
Rebecca is a compleatly different charector.
They aren't doing everything acording to book.
I know because i saw on the internet that this girl named Bryanna McLain is going to go for Debbie if they decide to keep her in.

I wouldn't believe everything you read on the internet. It might be right, but rumours, especially about actors and actresses, are common.

I'm afraid I can't really tell from the Myspace photos. If the movie does well, they might cast a more known actress in order to draw in more fans. Who knows?
